Back Like Cooked Crack, Yup

Napster founder Shawn Fanning’s Snocap will provide services to the Warner Music Group to sell its artists’ songs through MySpace. In addition, Snocap MyStores will power digital music sales through WMG artists’ own websites, fan blogs and e-mail. The agreement is the first such major label sales deal for S.F.-based Snocap, which also powers digital music stores on MySpace for indie labels including Sub Pop and Dangerbird, and for CD Baby, an online retailer of unsigned artists' CDs. Snocap also maintains a digital registry of 3.3 million songs from artists on major and independent labels.
